Some Bloglines UI updates
Last night I noticed a few changes on the Bloglines user interface. It’s still basically the same, but now shows the number of “save-as-unread” posts as well as the number of new posts. This is handy if you’re like me and mark items to look at later, but don’t remember which of the various feeds it’s stuck in.
The other change is the addition of keyboard shortcuts.
These don’t play as nicely as the Google Reader keyboard navigation system, but overall I’m still finding Bloglines to be more useable for my purposes. Bloglines hasn’t changed much in quite a long time, and it could use better integration of search, tagging, and feed management tools. It’s nice to see some signs of life over there, though.
Update 10-13-2005 17:13PDT: Bill Lazar is underwhelmed. Also, the official announcement from Bloglines. Somehow I seem to have overlooked the addition of astrology forecasts and the lottery results…
